BB creams? What are they?

BB Creams are short for Blemish Balm or Beblesh Balm and were originally a product from the Asian beauty market. I recently discovered how big these were becoming after the drugstores were taken by storm by brands like No7, Clinique, Garnier and even Mac bringing out their own BB creams.

What does a BB cream offer that my foundation doesn't?
Well, a BB cream has lots of properties to help relax and calm skin leaving it with less redness and more moisturised. Most of them have spf of around 15 or more and contain vitamins to help repair the skin. Some of them only come in one or two shades (generally for lighter skins) which claim to adapt to the skin colour.
