Review: Hand Food

This is by far the best hand cream i have ever tried! Its avaliable for £5 for 125ml or £2.50 for 50ml from boots.

Smell?: Slightly musky and sweet but it's a good mixture. Smells alot like marshmallow to me!

Packaging?: Cute but simple packaging isn't gimmicky which makes it very practical for its purpose.

Texture?: This is a rich, hydrating hand cream but it absorbs really quickly leaving your hands feeling like clouds (ahhh required when applied). Non Greasy which is a huge plus!

Rating: 9/10

Would I recommend this?: YES! For £5 it won't break the bank and I certainly wasn't disappointed.

BB creams? What are they?

BB Creams are short for Blemish Balm or Beblesh Balm and were originally a product from the Asian beauty market. I recently discovered how big these were becoming after the drugstores were taken by storm by brands like No7, Clinique, Garnier and even Mac bringing out their own BB creams.

What does a BB cream offer that my foundation doesn't?
Well, a BB cream has lots of properties to help relax and calm skin leaving it with less redness and more moisturised. Most of them have spf of around 15 or more and contain vitamins to help repair the skin. Some of them only come in one or two shades (generally for lighter skins) which claim to adapt to the skin colour.

Sensationail Gel Manicure at home

Some of you may have seen Elle Fowler or Allthatglitters21 video about at home Gel Manicure's by Sensational by Nailene.



Recently I was looking on Boots.com and found out it will soon be launching in boots for £85! Don't think i'll be rushing to buy that anytime soon. The starter kit includes everything you need to create chip proof, glossy nails lasting upto 2weeks. Considering a Shellac manicure costs around £30 and this kit includes enough for 10 manicures so you are saving alot of money. Maybe I will consider buying this but it won't be a rush buy.

Pink Hair Feathers

I went to the hairdressers today, who is also my neighbour so quite a close friend to our family. She cut my hair with lots more layers and in a middle part and I love it! She also has some new hair feathers avaliable at her salon. So, she asked if I wanted one for free as practice for one of the stylists training who is also a neighbour of mine and a close friend. What could go wrong? Nothing! She did an amazing job and I can't wait to get another one. Sorry for the bad camera quality and lighting but I just had to show you guys.

Ask your hairdresser what they offer. Mine was put in for free this time but if I wish to get another one she only charges £6-£8 depending on length and style. Or you can also do them yourself a home, there are lots of different places that sell them for cheap ones I know of are Halo Hair extensions and Ebay.

Bad Luck :(

So, I know I said i'd be blogging everyday but yeah, that failed. My computer crashed, I forgot my blogger password and then my internet was down. Well, what can I say? Proactiv?!

I'm sure most of us have seen the brand Proactiv on shopping channels with fans like Katy Perry, Mandy Moore and even Justin Bieber!


 
Now its avaliable at Boots! I haven't tried this product and it isn't a must try as I don't have immense acne just a few blemishes here and there which my Panoxyl clears up pretty well. The 3step system including the Cleanser, Toner and Moisturiser is £39.99 here.

Product Rave! and an apology :)

So first I'll start off with a quick apology about my monthly favourites, I said that I would post them soon but then my camera broke. Fantastic. After taking pictures on my ipod and them being blury I wasn't impressed then my ipod decided that it wouldn't charge properly! What a load of drama that is! I Hopefully should be back using a camera very soon!

PRODUCT RAVE!
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer!


My Shade is Light 2. This is a liquid concealer and has yet to crease on me and covers EVERYTHING! This is £4.19 and well worth the money. My only complaint is the shade range for darker skin tones with 'Deep' being more of a medium skin colour. If your hesitating about this then don't! I'm yet to find a person that doesn't like this product. You can find it here.

Yes, REAL TECHNIQUES! This is the brand of makeup brushes created by Samantha Chapman from Pixwoo on youtube. Before, these brushes were only avaliable in america in Ulta or on Lovemakeup.com. But, they are now avaliable in Boots! Yey!

What a surprise! Rimmel have created their own version of the famous lip pens which are also avaliable by Max Factor and Revlon for around £7each. The Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip pens are avaliable in stores for £6.99 and in 6 very wearable shades. You can check them out here.


This is a very exciting release from Rimmel. This new wake me up foundation offers a glowy complexion and a lift to your skin. This is avaliable in 6shades which are all fairly pale which is very disapointing for people with darker skin tones. At £8.99 you can find it here from boots.

This offers a matte satin finish and a oil free foundation with Spf 15. Plus, its a bargain at £5.99 from Boots. This one is a bargain and is one new product I will definatley want to try! Avaliable in 6shades from here.
