In todays post i've picked out my top5 Luxury but practical gifts that any woman would LOVE! here goes...

1. GHD's -From £99 avaliable online or in selected hairdressers.
GHD's are great straighteners and my mum has had hers for 6years and they are still going strong! I haven't tried the Cloud Nine straightners so I cant compare but I believe they are just as good.

2. No7 Make up Mirror- £49.99 avaliable from Boots

I recieved this last year for christmas and use it everyday to do my makeup! It's amazing and looks very chic on your dressing table! If you purchase before Christmas its on offer for £19.99! BARGAIN!

3. Mark Hill RAW hairdryer- £59.99 avaliable from Boots
I have this hairdryer and although quite pricey its the best hairdryer I have ever used, it has 2speed settings and 3heat settings including a cool shot button and 3concentrator nozzles. I cannot recommend this for its purpose enough and it is also on offer in Boots for £29.99!

4. Jo Malone cologne collection- £62 avaliable from Jo Malone counters at Selfridges
Perfume is a tricky yet safe option for a luxury gift. If you know which scent your loved one wears then you'll have a great gift they'll love! But if you have no idea then a perfume mini collection like this one from Jo  Malone is perfect.

5. Sigma Premium Makeup brush kit- $164 (approx. £102) from Sigma Beauty online
A brush kit is a great gift for any makeup lover! Sigma seems too be the most talked about brand for full brush sets with great quality comparable too Mac.

Brows Brows Brows...

For anyone that doesn't know I LOVE bold eyebrows but I find i'm too heavy handed too use a pencil product. I end up looking like I have slugs on my face or a 'scousebrow'.

After seeing many Youtube gurus fill in there brows with eyeshadow, so I gave it a try.

At first I was using a shoddy brush from Superdrug that i've owned for years! It was awful, so I decided I needed a new eyebrow brush.
This one isn't particularly an eyebrow brush but it certainly works! I picked this Barry M one up from Superdrug for only £2.99!

The bristles apply shadow really well and helps pack the product into the brows and I think this brush will also work amazingly for gel eyeliner and even using eyeshadow as a liner (which I can confirm works really well!) The bristles are very dense and there are alot of them!

I would highly recommend this as a tool to have, plus I love the bright teal colour can't go wrong for £2.99!

A waterproof mascara for £1.99?!!

I am officially now on the hunt for a good waterproof mascara for my holidays in 4weeks time! Eeeek!

Please excuse the bags under my eyes it was extremely early and I had a late night! This is with just one coat of the mascara.

Two coats

This mascara is a great natural looking mascara although I would like it too be a bit more dramatic and volumised. Although for the beach this really defines and lengthens my lashes without being clumpy or spidery looking. The formula isn't dry or too wet it's just right and not thick like clumpy mascaras can have. Surprisingly at how basic the wand is I do really like it, it coats each and every lash however it doesn't really lengthen as much as other mascaras do. For me this isn't really a problem as I have naturally long lashes but for someone with short lashes BE WARY!

I do recommend this as a waterproof mascara if like me you only buy cheap drugstore for a 2week holiday every year then it gets thrown in the bin. This is brilliant for that and is very waterproof for its price! But if you wear waterproof mascaras on a daily basis then this maybe isn't for you.

The NYC Show time volumizing waterproof mascara is avaliable here. Or in Superdrug for £1.99.

Pink Dip dyed hair! Step by step!

For almost a year now I have wanted too dip dye my hair and last night me and my friend did! We went too a specialist shop too buy the hair colour then we bought cheap tinting brushes and foils from poundworld! I cannot believe how easy this is too do!

Foil, tinting bowl and brushes(came with 3in a set) both from Poundworld.
Directions Hair colour £3.99 from a specialist shop but also avaliable from Ebay.

I chose the colour Carnation Pink for super bright pink colour. For brighter colour on darker hair its advised that you bleach your hair first with a bleaching kit, I didnt have too carry out this step as I have blonde hair anyway and still managed too get a bright colour!

Step by Step...

1. Place your colour in the tint bowl that you have and prepare your foils you will need around 1-2inch thick strips.

2. Apply your colour too damp hair with your tint brush evenly too the ends of your hair covering every strand. You need too apply your colour too around 1-2inch thick sections this makes sure your colour is neater.

3. Now wrap your foil around the coloured part of your hair on the ends.

4. After leaving the colour for the recommended 15mins, personally I left mine on for 30mins even with blonde hair. Rinse with cold water and conditioner if necessary, DO NOT SHAMPOO this will wash all of your colour out!

5. Blow dry and style as usual and there is your dip dyed hair!

I'm so happy at how mine turned out!
Will you be trying this trend?

Review: Rimmel Wake me up Foundation

After seeing all the hype about this foundation I thought it was about time I tried it out! I've actually been using this foundation since it had came out, well a week or two after. So, I thought it was about time a review was in order...

Firstly I love the packaging! Simple and sleek in the glass bottle yett fun with the bright orange lid and my favourite a pump! I hate those foundations that you have too whack out of the jar. Packaging: 9/10

What it claims too do...
Visibly reawakens and illuminates skin with a radiant glow and a flawless natural looking finish. Instant anti-fatigue effect. With peptides and a vitamin Moisturising complex.

What it does...
This foundation feels thick and moisturising when being appllied too the skin but feels lightweight when set giving a dewy finish. Therefore me with oily skin started too panic! When I wear this foundation i have too powder twice a day and still end up looking 'dewy' which isn't a bad thing but its not brilliant either.

I find this foundation amazing on dry patches and I think it would be amazing on dry skin but for me I find it sliding off my face within about 5hours. I really do love the amount of coverage this foundation gives me and will definatley be saving it for the winter months when my skin is dry!

Overall I'd give this a 6.5/10 but would definatley recommend it too people with dry skin! You can purchase it from Boots and Superdrug for £8.99 here.

Thanks for reading,
Please follow my blog too keep updated with many more exciting new posts too come soon!

Review: Mac Viva glam Nicki Lipstick!

Quite a while ago I said how I was in love with the Viva glam Nicki lipstick that Mac had released, well I bought it! I've had it for around 2months now and just haven't got around to writing this review post for you all.

The packaging is the same as the normal Mac lipstick packaging except for the red writing but I love the subtle change I just think it looks far more sleek. Especially 'Nicki's' signature on the inside of the bullet.

The actual lipstick has a super nice and luxurious smell and taste, its almost like a faux vanillary type scent. The lipstick formulation is a satin finish however it can be quite drying too the lips but isn't unbareable, for example i've had creamier but i've also had more drying lipsticks from other brands.

Now, I personally think this is all worth it for this amazing lipstick and pigmentation! The colour is a bright pink with a coral-y undertone, IT IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

I would 100% recommend this lipstick and can't wait to try more Mac lipsticks!
Mac Viva glam Nicki lipstick is £13.50 and available on Mac counters and instores.

Review: Barry M Nail paints!

Barry M nail paints are some of the most affordable nail polishes avaliable in drugstores at the moment and have been for a few years now. They have an amazing range of colours which sadly I only have 4 of. They are avaliable in Superdrug and larger Boots stores for £2.99 each but they do sometimes have 3 for 2 offers on!
(L-R) Cyan Blue, Coral, Lemon Ice cream, Berry Ice cream

First of all I love the packaging of these! The colour is easy too see whichever way stored and it looks sleek and classy, however some people may think of the packaging as boring which it kind of is. The brush is very thin and small which I find so much easier! Especially on short nails I find those big fat brushes too be far too fiddly and actually takes longer because i'm concentrating more.

This polishes come in so many colours and I cannot wait too collect more, they are very opaque. Except from the pastel shades but even those only require two coats too become opaque! These polishes also dry super fast and stay chip free for around 3-4days!
(L-R) Berry Ice cream, Lemon Ice cream, Coral and Cyan Blue.
                                   Cyan Blue #294                                     Coral #296

Lemon Ice cream #307                         Berry Ice cream #308

Overall I would highly recommend these polishes too anyone but do be aware that the lighter pastel shades will require 2coats.
Have you tried any Barry M nail paints, what's your favourite colour?
