Hollister Sale!

Yesterday I was in my local shopping center and saw that hollister had a sale on! I'd never seen a hollister sale before and expected it to be very busy but surprisingly it wasn't. For ages I'd been wanting a hollister hoodie but I just couldn't come around to spending £50 on one that i'd probably wear twice, then seeing them in the sale I got very giddy!

Boomer Beach
This is the one I got for only £32.90! Bargain! Its so easy to wear just around the house or I even wore it out shopping with a pair of jeans, vans and just curled my hair and wore bright lips. Strangely, I didn't get any strange looks and my friend said I looked 'normal' thats good enough for me! The Hollister sale is not to be missed I think I'll be going back soon to get some long sleeve tops for £13 that I saw.

Will you be getting anything from the hollister winter sale?

New Hair Loves!

Sorry that I haven't posted in quite a while guys the thing is i've just been mega busy and every time I wanted to write a post I hadn't got a clue what to write so please leave your ideas in the comments!

So, recently i've been loving taking care of my hair and so I thought i'd run through the products and give you mini reviews on them...

Shampoo...
Vosene Original Medicated Shampoo- £1.93 from Boots

This is amazing! I've used this for years, it deep cleanses my hair and gets rid of all the crap out of my hair. Yes, it is slightly drying and I have always had pretty normal hair so, it may not be so great for people with dry hair. But I like to use a very moisturising conditioner afterwards to replenish my hair. At under £2 its worth a try for definate!

Conditioner...
Dove Intensive Repair Express Treatment conditioner- £3.36 from Boots

I received a 50ml sample of this in my goodie bag when I went to the clothes show in december and I love it! Usually my hair is quite dry and damaged but gets greasy really quickly! With this Conditioner it doesn't weigh down my hair and I don't have to wash my hair for about 3days! This leaves my hair really soft and shiny too.

Treatments...
Andrew Barton Ultimate Blonde Twice a week Brightening Shampoo and Super Nourish Conditioner- £4 each or sometimes 2for£6 from Asda

These are brilliant! I bought a sample kit for £2.50 reduced from £5 after Christmas containing these 2products in 75ml and 50ml tubes and a 50ml tube of the Heat protector cream and a mirror and tail comb. I regularly have Blonde highlights in my hair and have been wanting to try Andrew Barton products for ages and thought this would be a brilliant opportunity and i'm very impressed! The Shampoo takes away the brassiness in my hair and the the conditioner re-hydrates whilst not weighing my hair down or making it greasy.

Styling products...
Andrew Barton Ultimate Blonde Heat Protection Styling Cream- £4 from Asda

I apply this too my towel dried hair on the ends and i've noticed how soft my hair felt! I'm not sure about the heat protection but it definatley keeps my ends nourished and soft.

Pantene Volume and Body Mousse-£2.99 from Boots

This is a really good mousse for giving volume and body, like it says on the bottle. But, it can make your hair crispy if you apply too much so little is definatley more with this.

Tresemme Heat Protection Spray-£4.99 from boots

I cannot say anything bad about this product whatsoever! Its mega easy to use on wet or dry hair and smells divine!

Hairsprays...
I will hopefully have a separate post coming soon on my favorite hairsprays, trust me i'm a hairspray queen! I've tried quite alot!

Thank you for reading and keep your eyes out for more posts to come!

Mac Wishlist!

So as a 'newbie' to mac products I recently went to a new shopping center around an hours drive from where I live and saw a mac counter in the makeup section of the debenhams there. I spent around 20minutes having a general browse and swatched some of the products. They looked amazing quality in person and as I realised the swatches online don't give the products justice! The other day I was clearing out my makeup collection and found a mac dazzleglass! I never knew I had it! Ever since i've used it all the time and I love it. So after endless hours of browsing I manged to create a 'wishlist' of things I would like to try in the near future...

Eyeshadows in All that Glitters (Left) and Satin Taupe (Right).

 Eye Shadow           Eye Shadow
£11.50 each.

Eye Kohl in Teddy.
 Eye Kohl
£13 each.

Lipstick in Speak Louder.
 Lipstick
£13.50 each.

Cremesheen Glass in Loud and Lovely
 Cremesheen Glass
£16 each.

Select sheer loose powder (I'm guessing i'd be around a NC15)
 Select Sheer/Loose
£17.50 each.

Select Cover Up concealer (I'm guessing again i'd be around an NW15)
 Select Cover-Up
£13.50 each.

A belated Happy New Year! and My 2012 New years resolutions!

Happy New Year! Okayy, so I know it's late but I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy new year and all the best for 2012!

This year I really wanted to have a set of new years resolutions which I would stick to! So here they are:

1. Be more Healthy and Tone up!
This is the biggest one for me as i'm not the smallest of people and have always been a 'curvy' girl. But, recently its gotten the better of me and found myself eating a lot more rubbish foods! I'm not asking for a massive weight loss just a few pounds shedded please! I'm hoping to start a mini series towards the end of january to show my progress if you'd like to see that let me know!

2. Take care of my skin:
I have been getting alot better at taking care of my skin lately in the morning but at nighttime all I've been doing is taking my makeup with a quick swipe of a garnier makeup wipe. So for this resolution I really would like to wash and moisturise my face every night!

3. Wear less makeup
Now for this I mean resist from wearing makeup unless i'm going somewhere. I've noticed since being ill the week before christmas with flu that my skin has been looking miles better without makeup.

4. Grow my nails
I hate to admit that i'm a nail bitter! It disgusts me! But the only time I don't bite my nails is when I have polish on, so I thrive to keep my nails in tip top condition throughout 2012!

5. Keep my room tidy
I used to be really good at keeping my room tidy but recently whilst i've been getting ready I just left all my makeup and products all over my room. I've just been so busy lately and haven't had time to tidy up but I did manage to clear my room today and so far i've kept on top of it!

First Blog Post!

Welcome to Bulletin Beauty,

I've decided to try my hand at blogging after seeing so many people become successful through their blogs and youtube! I'm a teenage girl from England and I love Beauty and Fashion! I am currently studying textiles at school and hope to take it for a GCSE. Although I love Fashion and Beauty, I also have a love for Singing, Dancing and Drama. I go to dance lessons every week and I'm in a street dance group, my drama never really took off if i'm honest after I realised my immense stage fright! I've never performed singing either but I did have the chance to record some songs on a cd but, it turned out a disaster! So, thats my imperfect perfect life in a nutshell for you guys. Please click the follow button to my blog > and feel free to leave a comment and I will try my hardest to respond.
